Home...Well Almost!
We arrived back in Boston this afternoon (Friday) without incident. It was an early morning, waking up at 4:00 am and off to the airport at 5:00 am. We arrived at the BCNE Lodge just after 3:00 pm. The Quest 8 - South African team began arriving within a few minutes. The weather was cool but refreshing. The group had some snacks and down time. Later we had dinner together as a full Quest team. (Jen and Ken joined us for the evening, no baby yet!)
After dinner the groups shared stories with one another, prayed and exchanged gifts from the two countries. They planned the outline for tomorrow’s celebration. We anticipate more than 90 will join us as we wrap up and celebrate how we saw God at work in and through us. Just after noon the groups will wrap up and head home.Each of the DR team members have written a few thoughts down and those will be added to this sight in the next few days. Please check back and read their personal accounts.
We cannot thank you enough for your partnership during our time in the Dominican Republic . We returned safely and healthy. Pray for the team as they re-enter their worlds, get some needed rest and return to school and work. We are all changed in some way. Some are changed in many ways. Please continue to pray for the team as we process all we have seen and experienced. This will take time hopefully some changes will last into eternity. You comments were such and encouragement.
